I got this for my 6 year old daughter who loves fairies and mermaids. The art projects are awesome, many different ways to create, each project can take around an hour to do. Some of the projects need parental guidance for her age, delicate tissue paper, cutting tin foil, etc. but the outcome is always amazing and she loves to display her work, which really turns out to look professional. Could this book lead to a career in illustrating childrens book, very probable!
Also recommend “I can draw Animals” by Gibson, that she can do 100% herself with step by step directions.

Sure, they look great in the book, but none of the projects in this book will ever come out looking like the examples. It looks easy, but for little hands the drawings are kinda complicated. I’ve seen better drawing books for this age group.

Really fun for my almost 5 year old, I can see she’s getting better at drawing all ready. Sometimes I do the drawing and she tells me how to do it. WE are enjoying the ideas in the the book.

What a great book for any little girl who loves to draw. I have it for my daughter and often give books from this collection for birthday gifts. This book + a pack of paper + markers and crayons are always a hit. Such sweet illustrations.
