I'm thinking of starting a vlog and I've got some ideas eg drawing a cartoon dinosaur for every episode and stuff like that. But I wanna be like amazing phil or charlieissocoolike but I was wondering how I would do that without it looking unnatural or cringe. I'm only going to start at Christmas when I get my camcorder.

Well, something you can do to get people to want to watch your videos more is creating a catchy intro and outro and adding it to every video. If you’re worried about stage fright, just talk to the camera as if it’s one of your friends and your telling it about your day. I promise it gets easier over time, I used to say ‘ummmm’ and ‘like’ and stuff a lot in my videos, but now I hardly ever do. Also, you can write down ideas in a notebook before you start recording; that way you can have a loosely scripted video and you on’t have to take long, awkward breaks to think about what to say next. You don’t even have to touch on all the things that you wrote down, it just helps to have them there as options.
