  1. The young lady I bought this book for just loves it.
    Rating: 5 / 5

  2. This is yet another hit from Christopher Hart. It has easy-to- follow drawings and a sense of humor. He takes you step by step to each character type and pose. Well worth the money.

  3. JB in MN says:

My 4th grade daughter loves to draw and thinks this book is the greatest. She carries the big thing in her backpack with her to school every day so that she and her friends can use it together. I have already picked up two additional copies to give as gifts to her friends who seem to also think its the bomb.

  4. The art in this book is adorable, there’s not denying that, but it’s not very helpful for anything other than putting a smile on your face. There’s next to no instruction of any kind, and what’s there is almost incomplete and completely unhelpful for anyone that doesn’t already have a fair degree of skill already. This is great for suggestions, and will probably help with a few details that you might have been leaving out of your chibi drawings, but it’s not helpful for much of anything else.

  5. WARNING: This book is not for beginers. There are few step by step instructions, the rest you have to figure out on your own. (you lazy people)

For those who are not beginers, this book goes fairly deep into the world of Chibi characters. It shows basics in body structures and facial expressions.

It also touches bases on many catgirl body types.

I feel this book gives you a wide variety of ideas that you can use to create catgirls.

All and all this is one of Mr. Hart’s better books. One of the facts is that he put less of his style into this book. Which causes it to become more manga, not americanized/manga that he usually draws.

    Which is a good thing.

I really like the section in the back about stylized chibi’s from Japan.
